Former NPFL Boss, Dikko Appointed National Sports Commission Chairman

Former chairman of the League Management Company of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Mallam Shehu Dikko has been appointed the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, NSC by President Bola Tinubu.

The appointment comes following the restructuring of ministries by the presidency.

Dikko, who served as league boss between 2014 and 2022, will lead out in all sports matters following the scrapping of the Ministry of Sports Development.

He also served as Second Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF in recent years and is an experienced administrator.
