Jojo the Jogobonito playmaker who revived Flying Eagles to life

On Thursday, Sulaiman ‘Jojo’ Alabi, a graduate of La Planet Sport Academia, played a pivotal role in the Flying Eagles’ thrilling 2-1 comeback win against Cote d’Ivoire’s Young Elephants by providing an assist. Surely the pass revived the team back to life.

This victory secured the Flying Eagles a spot in the semi-finals of the ongoing WAFU-B Championship in Togo.

Jojo threaded a Jogobinto pass to Clinton Jeptha for the crucial equalizer, allowing Coach Aliyu Zubair’s squad to regain momentum before striker Kparobo sealed the win with a decisive winner.

The Elkanemi Warriors midfielder, who came on in the second half, continues to leave a lasting impression with his outstanding contributions to the team.

Like Oliver Twist, Jojo is eager for more as Nigeria prepares to take on Niger Republic in the semi-final on Saturday.
