After losing 1-0 at home to ten-man Rivers United last match-day, no thanks to Seiyefa Jackson’s strike, Niger Tornadoes need an immediate response in Saturday’s clash with Katsina United at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
On their part, Katsina United suffered fell 1-0 to Shooting Stars in Ibadan and are equally determined to bounce back, setting the stage for an interesting battle.The hosts, Katsina United are unbeaten at home this season, making their ground a tough one to visit in search for points.
Only Bendel Insurance have scored at the Muhammadu Dikko this season, but the Benin Arsenal suffered a 2-1 loss in the process, while Lobi Stars were whitewashed 3-0 and Akwa United also tasted defeat, losing 1-0 to the “Chanji Boys”.
Contrastingly, Niger Tornadoes have created nightmares for home teams this term.

Nasarawa United, Bendel Insurance and Lobi Stars have all picked points in Minna, while Rivers United fed Tornadoes an even more bitter pill.
Just one point separates both sides. Katsina United sit ninth with 11 points, while Tornadoes are 12th with 10 points.
