Rasheedat Ajibade, captain of the Super Falcons, has announced that her foundation, the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation (RAF), will sponsor 11 coaches from Lagos State for the third batch of the NIS/LSFA Coaching Certification Course.
In addition to covering the training costs for these coaches, the Atlético de Madrid Femenino player has committed to ongoing contributions to the community.
The FC Robo Queens alumna urged the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) to consistently provide comprehensive information about upcoming programs, allowing her foundation to participate effectively.
In response to Ajibade’s generous initiative, Hajji Gafar Liameed, Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, expressed his appreciation for her support, highlighting the opportunity it provides for the selected coaches to enhance their understanding of the sport and obtain the necessary certification to work as licensed coaches.
Liameed also called on other individuals and corporate entities to engage with the various programs and initiatives of the LSFA, as it strives to advance football development in Lagos and across Nigeria.
