Improved Rangers Claim Hard-Earned Draw at Kwara United

Rangers International demonstrated their growing resilience on the road with a hard-earned 1-1 draw at Kwara United, Monday, 28th October in a match-day nine encounter of the current Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.

Kwara United showed intent from the start and took the lead in the 42nd minute through Shola Abdulraheem.

The lead was short-lived as the Flying Antelopes responded via Kingsley Maduforo in the 45th minute to leave scores even at halftime.

The second half was goal-shy as Rangers held on to take a point back to Enugu, their second consecutive draw after a goalless draw with Akwa United exactly seven days ago.

Rangers, who now sit ninth on the NPFL log with 12 points, will next face Nasarawa United at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.

1On their part, Kwara United travel to Uyo for a date with Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Sunday, November 3.
