36 Lion Investment, in collaboration with Diamond Sports Management, IFMM, and Sheriff FC, has announced the upcoming 19th edition of the Lagos Supremacy Cup.
The tournament is slated to take place from November 27 to 30, 2024, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.
Hajji Gafar Olawale Liameed, President of 36 Lion Investment, revealed that at least nine international sporting directors will be present at the event.
These directors will represent countries including Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Slovakia, and England.
The reigning champions of the Viareggio Cup, Beyond Limits Football Academy, will lead the list of teams participating in the Lagos Supremacy Cup.
Other notable teams expected to compete include defending champions 36 Lion, Broad City, and Bethel FC, among others.
Hajji Gafar and his associates have previously organized several scouting tournaments that successfully identified players who are now playing internationally.
Ahead of the tournament, main partner Cem Sagar expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Nigeria to discover new talent.
The owner of Diamond Sports Management also serves as the coordinator for all expatriates attending the competition.
