Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has provided a hint of a possible permanent transfer to Galatasaray at the end of his loan spell in Turkey.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal from Napoli in the summer.
Since his move, the Nigerian striker has impressed in Turkey, scoring six goals and providing four assists in ten games across all competitions.
The performance of the Nigerian striker has been linked to a move away from Galatasaray. Osimhen has been linked with several clubs, including Galatasaray who are also reportedly making efforts to sign him permanently.
The Yellow Reds reportedly staged a meeting with the Sporting Director of Napoli, Giovanni Manna, to discuss the possibility of signing Victor Osimhen permanently in the summer.
Reacting to the speculation after the 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night, Osimhen expressed his intention to remain in Galatasaray beyond the winter window.
The Super Eagles forward further hinted at the possibility of staying at Galatasaray, noting that he will be open for a conversation after the discussion between both parties.
“I am very happy here. I will not leave in January,” Osimhen stated. “I will stay here until the end of the season. I do not know what Napoli and Galatasaray are talking about, but when they tell me what they are talking about, we will sit down and talk”.
