Nigerian football icon Ahmed Musa is making a significant impact both on and off the field. The captain of the Super Eagles recently contributed ₦500,000 each to the Under-19 teams of Kano Pillars FC and Mighty Jets of Jos.
This act of generosity highlights Musa’s dedication to the development of grassroots football, inspiring young athletes to pursue excellence. His donation follows an impressive performance in Kano Pillars’ 2-2 draw against Heartland, where he scored a crucial equalizer, as well as his support for the Super Eagles during their 2025 AFCON qualifying match against Rwanda.
After returning to Kano, Musa attended the Under-19 Youth League match between Kano Pillars and Mighty Jets at the Sani Abacha Stadium, where he personally presented the donations. This brings his total contributions to youth teams to ₦1 million, underscoring his commitment to nurturing the next generation of football talent.
