‘Giuntoli had him in Naples’ – Ex-Juventus Defender Adani believes Osimhen will join Juventus

Former Juventus defender Lele Adani has expressed hope about the possibility of Victor Osimhen joining the Bianconeri after his loan spell with Galatasaray.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a loan deal from Napoli in the summer. Since arriving in Istanbul, Osimhen has impressed in Turkey, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in nine games across all competitions.

The impressive return has attracted several top clubs around Europe. Teams such as Chelsea, Manchester United, and Juventus have been linked with a move for the Nigerian forward.

In an interview with Viva el futbol via calciomercato, Adani lends his voice to the reported interest from the Old Lady. He believes Juventus can approach Osimhen if they decide to sell Dusan Vlahovic.

“If Juventus chooses to change the center forward, for me they will go and get Osimhen,” he said.

Adani explained the Nigerian knowledge of the Serie A, his physical attributes, and his relationship with Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, whom he had previously worked with at Napoli, could work in the favour of the Old Lady.

“Giuntoli, moreover, has already had him in Naples,” he explained. “He knows the Italian championship and Osimhen knows how to win the championship. He has physical strength and in a championship that goes at a slow pace he is truly disruptive”.

With a lot of speculations surrounding the future of the Super Eagles forward, there are concerns about the next destination of Osimhen after the end of his loan contract at Galatasaray.
