Atalanta Hold Firm on €70 Million Price Tag for Ademola Lookman Amid PSG Interest

Serie A high-flyers Atalanta BC have set a €70 million valuation for their Nigerian forward, Ademola Lookman, as interest in the Super Eagles star continues to grow across Europe.

Despite being surprisingly relegated to the bench in Atalanta’s commanding UEFA Champions League victory over Swiss side Young Boys on Tuesday, Lookman remains one of the club’s standout performers this season. He has notched nine goals and provided five assists in 15 appearances across all competitions, making him a key figure in Gian Piero Gasperini’s attacking setup.

Reports from Tuttomercatoweb indicate that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) remains keen on the 26-year-old after failing to secure his signature during the summer transfer window. Italian journalist Paolo Paganini revealed that the French champions are still monitoring Lookman as a priority target.

“Lookman? I know that PSG’s summer interest had remained intact,” Paganini told Tuttomercatoweb. “He is on Paris Saint-Germain’s shopping list, but it remains to be seen if Atalanta can do without someone like Lookman in January.”

Atalanta, however, are playing hardball over their star forward. The Bergamo-based club insists they will not entertain offers below €70 million, as they aim to retain their competitive edge in Serie A and Europe.
