Niger Tornadoes’ standout midfielder, Papa Daniel, has received an invitation to join the Super Eagles Team B, commonly referred to as the CHAN Eagles.
On Monday, Super Eagles head coach Augustine Eguavoen announced a roster of 30 players vying for positions ahead of the upcoming qualifiers against Ghana.
Daniel, who has played a pivotal role for Niger Tornadoes this season with three goals in the NPFL, was among the initial players selected by the Eagles coaching staff for the first phase of training camp.
All selected players are expected to report to the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, for preparations leading up to the first leg of the qualification match against Ghana’s Black Stars B, scheduled for Sunday, December 22, at the Accra Sports Stadium. The return leg will be held at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
