On Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, Abubakar Bukola Saraki Ilorin Football Club (ABS Ilorin FC) organized a seminar aimed at educating its players and officials about the regulations of the game. The event was held at the main bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The seminar was part of the club’s preparations for the upcoming 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season and featured informative presentations by Afolabi Maroof, the Kwara State Referee Training Officer, along with Referee Emmanuel Kolawole. The discussions focused on important topics such as the newly amended rules, regulations, and best practices in football.
Funmilayo Owolabi, the club’s secretary, stated that the seminar aimed to improve the knowledge and comprehension of the players, coaches, and officials regarding the game.
This initiative is crucial for ensuring that the team is adequately prepared for the challenges that lie ahead in the new season.
