Bayer Leverkusen is preparing to present a lucrative contract offer to Victor Boniface, aiming to position him among the club’s highest-paid players.
The 23-year-old striker for the Super Eagles currently receives an annual salary of three million euros. His existing contract with the Bundesliga champions runs until 2028, but the club is looking to extend it through 2029.
Transfer expert Patrick Berger has indicated that discussions regarding the new contract are already in advanced stages. In addition to a higher salary, the proposed agreement will feature performance-related bonuses.
Berger also noted that Boniface is inclined to accept the extension, as he is content and envisions his medium-term future with Leverkusen.
