Andrew Idoko, a product of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), made headlines in Israel on Sunday, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.
The 18-year-old secured the victory for Hapoel Jerusalem with a decisive goal, leading to a 1-0 win against Sakhnin at the Teddi Malcha Stadium in Jerusalem.
Idoko found the net in the 77th minute, bringing his tally to two goals in seven appearances in the Ligat ha’Al (Israel) top division this season.
Additionally, fellow Nigerian Ibeh Ransom Jidechukwu participated in the closely contested match for Hapoel Jerusalem.
