Calvin Bassey, the Super Eagles defender, will miss Saturday’s Premier League match against league leaders Liverpool due to a suspension following his fifth yellow card of the season.
In the Premier League, receiving five yellow cards results in a one-match suspension.
Bassey received his fifth booking during the 72nd minute of Sunday’s 1-1 draw at home against Arsenal, a match against their London rivals.
He faced a similar one-match ban last season after accumulating five cautions.
The 24-year-old central defender has participated in 15 matches for Fulham this season.
He lists Leicester City, Ajax and Rangers as his former clubs.
