Abubakar Mohammed Bala has been named the new head coach of Sunshine Stars, a club struggling in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Bala steps into the role after Kennedy Boboye resigned last month, citing management interference as the reason for his departure.
Since Boboye’s exit, assistant coach Bobola Akinfolarin has been overseeing the team’s operations.
Bala brings a wealth of experience to the position, having previously managed several clubs, including Doma United, FC Lokoja, Katsina United, Niger Tornadoes, Kwara United, and Lobi Stars.
