Kasam FA could not pose a threat to the Super Eagles B as the latter cruised to a 5-0 win in their friendly match played at the Remo Stars Stadium on Friday, December 13, 2024.
This was one of the test games for the Super Eagles B as they continue to prepare for the upcoming Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Ghana, Futbalgalore.com.ng reports.
After a goalless half hour, the national side came out all blazing with Kwara United’s Emmanuel Ogbole getting the opener for the side. In-form Waliu Ojetoye provided the assist on 31 minutes.
Vincent Temitope increased the tally following another good work from Ojetoye in the 50th minutes.
Al Amin Umar scored to take the scores to 3-0. This time Imoh Obot accounted for the assist.
Nasarawa United striker Anas Yusuf and Rangers youngster Kazeem Ogunleye then added to the tally to give the Super Eagles B an emphatic 5-0 win in the game.
After days of team building and preparations at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, the technical team is making efforts to arrange some test games for the team as they enter the final stages of preparations for the two-legged qualifiers.
So far, the Eagles have engaged in friendly matches against some lower tier sides.
