As reported by Il Messaggero, Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru was involved in a car accident over the weekend. The online edition of the newspaper indicates that Dele-Bashiru crashed his Lamborghini in the Italian capital on Saturday evening.
Fortunately, he emerged from the incident without injuries, with teammate Tijjani Noslin being the first to assist him after witnessing the event.
Dele-Bashiru had a notable performance earlier in the week, scoring in Lazio’s 3-1 Europa League win against Ajax, which helped maintain the team’s position at the top of the league standings. This marked his third goal of the season, complemented by two assists.
The 23-year-old Nigerian international is currently on loan from Hatayspor, with an option for Lazio to purchase him. In a recent match, Dele-Bashiru came on as a substitute in the 57th minute during Lazio’s heavy 6-0 defeat to Inter Milan.
