Promise Omochere scored a late equaliser for managerless Bristol Rovers to hold Wrexham to a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening.
Elliot Lee opened the scoring for Werxham in the 18th minute. Lee calmly slotting past Josh Griffiths after getting to the end of a pass from Matty James.
Omochere equalized for Bristol City with four minutes to the end of the game.
The Nigeria descent forward nodded home a cross at the back post after Ryan Barnett failed to deal with a long ball tossed into the box.
His goal denied Wrexham a chance to go level with Wycombe at the top of the table.
Despite the struggle of Bristol Rovers, the 24-year-old has been on a descent form this campaign.
He has scored three goals and provided three assists in 16 league games, despite Bristol Rovers sitting 19th on the log with 22 points.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Omochere is still eligible to feature for Nigeria as he is yet to represent Ireland in any competitive game.
