Business Time: Super Eagles Arrive Uyo to Plot Ghana’s Downfall

After a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, Nigeria’s Super Eagles B, made up of Nigeria Premier Football League stars, have touched down in Uyo to prepare for Saturday’s all-important return fixture with Ghana’s Black Galaxies for a place in next year’s Championship of African Nations, CHAN.

The players arrived moments ago and look battle-ready for Saturday.

Jide Fatokun, Sodiq Ismail, Victor Collins, Saviour Isaac, Papa Daniel and the rest of the stars from the Accra showdown headline the list of players to take on Ghana at the Nest of Champions.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed 5pm as kickoff time for Saturday’s clash.

Nigeria lost out on back-to-back editions in 2020 and 2022 and now aim a return to the big stage, but must overcome their fierce rivals, Ghana to be part of the party between February 1 and 28, 2025 in Kenya , Uganda and Tanzania.

Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede “Ijaball” is the man handed the responsibility of taking Nigeria back to the championship, and is assisted in the coaching crew by his friend and head coach of Rangers, Fidelis Ilechukwu, both of whom are assistants to Austin Eguavoen as coaches of the senior men’s team.
