Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has once again demonstrated his commitment to giving back to the community, this time by opening a temporary shop in East London where families in need can shop for groceries free of charge this Christmas season.
Through his charitable initiative ‘Alexpress,’ the Fulham midfielder is spreading festive cheer by offering free food, including turkeys, to families struggling to afford their Christmas dinners.
“If I can help celebrate a great Christmas, why not??” Iwobi said, emphasizing the importance of giving back during the holiday season.
The Super Eagles midfielder has been an impressive performer for Fulham this campaign. He has been a consistent performing for the Cottagers, featuring in different positions in midfield and sometimes on the wings.
Aside from the performance, Iwobi has been productive for Fulham. He has scored five goals and provided three assists in seventeen league games.
