Juventus Express Interest in Samu Omorodion After Stellar Season with Porto

Juventus have reportedly shown interest in Nigerian-Spanish striker Samu Omorodion, who is currently enjoying an exceptional season with Porto.

The 20-year-old forward, who was born in Melilla, a Spanish enclave in North Africa, has impressed with his physical prowess, technical ability, and clinical finishing, scoring 16 goals in 20 games for the Portuguese side.

Omorodion made a significant move to Porto in the summer for 35 million euros after Atletico Madrid chose to sell him. Juventus had previously sought to sign the striker on loan when he was at Atletico, but the Spanish club opted for a permanent deal with Porto instead.

Now, as Juventus prepare for potential moves in the upcoming summer transfer window, the Serie A club is reportedly considering an offer for Omorodion, particularly in light of speculation surrounding the possible sale of Dusan Vlahovic.

The Bianconeri are believed to be keeping a close eye on the young forward’s impressive form, which has once again captured the attention of Juventus’ sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli.

However, securing Omorodion will likely be a costly endeavor. Porto, known for their strong track record of developing and reselling talent, are unlikely to let the striker go for anything less than 60 million euros, a price tag Juventus will need to weigh carefully in their summer transfer plans.
