Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi of Nottingham Forest had the pleasure of hosting renowned agent Nureni Makanjuola, who surprised him with a Christmas visit in Nottingham on Wednesday.
The Water FC chairman, who chose to spend the festive season in the UK, offered heartfelt prayers for the talented forward.
Makanjuola, often referred to as MK, described his visit to Awoniyi’s impressive home as unforgettable.
“I thought it would be nice to come and greet Taiwo Awoniyi and wish him a Merry Christmas,” Nureni Makanjuola shared.
“Typically, I celebrate Christmas in Abuja with my family, but this year I decided to be in the United Kingdom. I felt it was important to visit Taiwo and his family, who welcomed me warmly.”
MK praised Awoniyi for his humility and acknowledged his significant contributions to the community.
He extended his best wishes for Awoniyi’s future endeavors, both at the club and international levels.
In gratitude for the visit, Taiwo Awoniyi presented MK with a Nottingham Forest jersey.
