Kevin Maussi Martins, the son of former Inter striker Obafemi Martins, made an impact during Monza’s 2-1 defeat to Parma in Serie A on Saturday.
After coming on as a substitute in the second half, he delivered a precise cross to Pedro Pereira at the back post.
At just 19 years old, Kevin has already made a notable impression this season, particularly in the Primavera 1 league, where his speed and technical abilities have posed challenges for rival defenses.
He has participated in seven matches, contributing two assists.
Born in Milan while his father played for Inter, Kevin carries a rich football legacy.
His development is a positive sign for Monza as he seeks to follow in his father’s footsteps, who enjoyed a successful career across several top European clubs and represented Nigeria internationally.
Kevin has previously played for both Inter Milan and AC Milan.
On the international stage, he is eligible to represent either Nigeria or Italy.
