Serie A: Chukwueze Ruled Out for One Month Following Injury

AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze has been ruled out for at least a month after sustaining an injury during the Rossoneri’s 1-1 Serie A draw with AS Roma last weekend. The 25-year-old was stretchered off in the 61st minute after a collision, leaving fans and teammates concerned.

The injury setback means Chukwueze will miss several crucial fixtures, including the Superscoppa Italiana showdown against Juventus in Riyadh on January 3.

This adds to AC Milan’s growing injury woes, with key players such as Rafael Leão, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yunus Musah, Noah Okafor, and Alessandro Florenzi also sidelined.

The Nigerian international’s absence is a significant blow to Milan’s attacking options, as he has been a vital contributor since his arrival from Villarreal last summer.

The Rossoneri, currently navigating a challenging period, recently appointed Sergio Conceição as their new head coach on Monday.

Conceição will now face the immediate task of managing a depleted squad while keeping Milan’s ambitions alive across domestic and European competitions.

AC Milan fans will be hoping for a swift recovery for Chukwueze and the rest of the injured players as the team looks to regain momentum in the coming weeks.
