Valencia has finalized a loan agreement for Umar Sadiq, the striker from Real Sociedad.
Since his arrival at Real Sociedad in 2022, the Nigerian forward has faced challenges in making a significant impact, managing to score only three goals in 36 matches last season.
This season, Sadiq has participated in just 11 games, accumulating a mere 482 minutes of play, which has led Real Sociedad to explore the option of a loan.
Valencia’s search for a striker has intensified due to the underwhelming performances of their summer acquisitions, Rafa Mir and Dani Gómez.
Mir has found the net only once in seven appearances, while Gómez has scored three times in 15 matches.
With Mir currently sidelined due to injury, Valencia has opted to bring in Sadiq to enhance their offensive capabilities.
