Emmanuel Uchenna, a product of the Lagos Supremacy Cup, made an impressive unofficial debut for Sparta Praha, scoring against Malmo FF on Friday afternoon.

Emmanuel concluded his youth career in Africa with Ikorodu City FC, located in Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city. He then moved to Baník at the start of spring 2023.
Initially, Baník loaned him out to two clubs in the Czech third league. After a successful period with Vítkovice, he also played for Hlučín, helping them secure a mid-table finish. During the winter break of the 2023/24 season, Baník recalled him to their reserve team, where he netted his first goal in Czech football against Hlučín.
As a centre-back, he played a key role in Baník’s B-team, which achieved a remarkable 14-match winning streak, ultimately leading to their promotion to the Czech National Football League (the second professional division).
