Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has reiterated his commitment to Galatasaray, declaring that his full focus is on achieving great things with the Turkish giants this season.
Galatasaray are currently nine points clear at the top of the Turkish Super Lig, on track for a third consecutive championship. The club is also poised to progress to the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League.
Despite ongoing rumours linking him with potential moves away from Istanbul, Osimhen insists that his concentration remains solely on helping the club reach their goals.
“I am focused on this team,” Osimhen told BeIN Sports. “We have certain goals. We are taking decisive steps towards these goals. I believe we will achieve great things.”
The 26-year-old forward, who joined Galatasaray in a high-profile transfer, spoke about his seamless integration into the team and his adaptation to life and football in Turkey.
Osimhen credited the support and confidence shown by his coach and teammates for making the transition smooth.
“When I joined the team everyone welcomed me very well. My coach and my friends showed their confidence in me, it was easy to adapt,” he said.
Osimhen has continued to impress with his performances on the field, contributing significantly to Galatasaray’s strong position in the league.
