The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has initiated definitive plans to conduct a four-month CAF B-License Coaching Course aimed at enhancing the skills of Nigerian coaches and equipping them for both present and future challenges. This program is open to coaches of all genders.
NFF Technical Director, Coach Augustine Eguavoen, informed thenff.com that this course is a key component of the NFF’s strategic initiative to strengthen coaching capabilities nationwide, and it will be delivered in modules.
To qualify for the course, scheduled from April 7 to August 25, 2025, candidates must be active coaches with a valid CAF C-License that has been actively utilized within the last two years. Additionally, they should possess reading and writing skills in English, basic computer proficiency along with a laptop, a valid Gmail account, and must provide a medical certificate confirming their physical and mental fitness for the program.
“We are targeting a maximum number of 25 participants. Applicants will be provided with a CAF CMS registration link upon successful completion of the pre-course assessment, and will pay the sum of N500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only) on or before 31st March 2025,” Eguavoen added.
It is noteworthy that in the previous year, the NFF conducted a CAF C-License program specifically for women, marking a historic first. This initiative attracted 30 female coaches from various regions of the country, including several former Nigerian international players. The three-module course was held from July to September 2024.
