Onuachu opens Premier League goal diary as Southampton suffer loss in Forest

Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu marked his first goal in the Premier League as Southampton faced a narrow defeat against Nottingham Forest, losing 3-2 in an exhilarating match on Sunday.

Ola Aina contributed significantly to the victory by providing an assist during the game. Joe Aribo and Taiwo Awoniyi also participated in the match.

Onuachu, who came off the bench in the 58th minute to replace Adam Armstrong, scored his goal in the 91st minute, marking his 12th appearance in the league.

Nottingham Forest seemed to be in control, leading 3-0 at halftime. However, Southampton staged a determined comeback in the second half, with goals from Jan Bednarek and Onuachu himself, leading to a tense conclusion.
