Flying Eagles playmaker Alabi Sulaiman Jojo is celebrating after scoring his inaugural goal in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Jojo found the back of the net in the 81st minute, securing a crucial point for Elkanemi Warriors in their 2-2 draw against Shooting Stars on Thursday.
The Maiduguri-based team, coached by Aliyu Zubairu, had to mount a comeback after initially falling behind by two goals.
Jojo’s outstanding performance was widely recognized, as he played a key role in helping his team earn a draw.
Following the thrilling match, Jojo shared his excitement about scoring his first NPFL goal, describing it as a dream realized.
“I am thrilled to have scored such an important goal for my team. It truly feels like a dream come true,” he remarked.
Having been part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad that clinched the WAFU-B championship last October, the La Planet Sport Academia product emphasized his commitment to supporting the team.
“My primary focus is to continue assisting the team alongside my fellow players. I am confident that we will finish the season on a strong note,” he concluded.
