Victor Osimhen is eager to reconnect with Cristiano Giuntoli at Juventus next summer, as reported by Il Mattino. Currently on loan at Galatasaray, the Nigerian forward is open to the possibility of joining Juventus once his loan period concludes.
Il Mattino indicates that Osimhen would be pleased to reunite with the former Napoli director Giuntoli in Turin. Giuntoli was instrumental in bringing Osimhen to Napoli from Lille for €75 million in 2020.
After negotiations with Chelsea, PSG, and Al-Ahli fell through, Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan in September. Il Mattino notes that Juventus has the option to activate a €75 million clause to secure the Nigerian forward at the end of the season, although other reports, including Goal.com, suggest that this clause is only applicable for clubs outside Serie A.
Additionally, Rai Sport reported in September that Osimhen has another clause worth €90 million, which can be activated by foreign clubs during the January transfer window. Nevertheless, Galatasaray remains optimistic that the top goalscorer of Serie A for the 2022-23 season will stay with the club until June.
