Paris Saint-Germain has reached out to Victor Osimhen (25) as they consider a potential transfer in January. The club had previously expressed interest during the summer but did not pursue it further. According to RMC Sport, this interest may be rekindled as the January transfer window approaches.
Following the closure of most European transfer windows, Napoli has sidelined Osimhen from their first-team activities, leaving him with limited options: either join a Turkish club or remain inactive for several months. Since moving to Galatasaray, he has scored 10 goals in 14 appearances.
Despite his current situation, Osimhen may be on the verge of another transfer. PSG has initiated contact with the striker, but the situation could be complicated, as noted by RMC Sport. Luis Enrique had previously opposed signing a traditional No.9 in the summer, and he may hold the same stance in January. Additionally, since Osimhen is on loan in Turkey, any potential deal would necessitate negotiations among PSG, Napoli, and Galatasaray.
These discussions could be challenging. Nevertheless, Osimhen is aware of PSG’s interest and is open to the possibility of moving to Parc des Princes.
