Black Galaxies head coach Didi Dramani has expressed his team’s determination to achieve victory against Nigeria in the second leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
Following a disappointing 0-0 draw in the first leg held in Accra, Dramani feels that his team deserved a better outcome and is resolute in their quest for qualification.
“We created significantly more opportunities and were unfortunate not to find the back of the net. There’s no point in lamenting what has already happened,” Dramani stated during a press conference in Uyo, prior to the crucial match. He recognized the formidable challenge ahead, highlighting the intense rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria.
“Saturday presents a chance to score and secure our place in the CHAN. It will be a tough match, as encounters between Nigeria and Ghana are never straightforward,” Dramani remarked. “The Super Eagles are a strong side, and we must elevate our performance. Our strategy will be to play an attacking game.”
Dramani remains focused on clinching a spot in the final tournament by employing a bold and tactical game plan to outmaneuver Nigeria.
