Leeds United is on the verge of acquiring Kelechi Iheanacho, the Sevilla striker, during the winter transfer window.
The ex-Manchester City forward is set to make his return to English football with Leeds.
It remains unclear if the club will secure the Super Eagles player on a loan basis or through a permanent deal before the transfer deadline on February 3.
Following the signing of Akor Adams, the La Liga team is now in a position to allow Iheanacho’s departure.
The 28-year-old was a member of the Leicester City squad that achieved promotion to the Premier League last season.
