English club considers move for Emmanuel Dennis in January

Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis as they aim to bolster their attacking options for a push towards Premier League promotion.

The Sky Bet Championship side is in the market for reinforcements, and Dennis has emerged as a potential target, according to reports from The Star.

The 27-year-old Nigerian forward has yet to feature for Nottingham Forest this season, fueling speculation about his future at the City Ground.

Despite limited opportunities under Steve Cooper, Dennis remains a highly regarded figure in English football, thanks to his standout performance during the 2021/22 season with Watford. That year, he was the Hornets’ top scorer with 10 goals.

Dennis’s availability has reportedly caught the attention of several clubs both in England and abroad, making him a sought-after option in the January transfer market.

Sheffield Wednesday are keen to improve their attacking firepower, and Dennis’s proven track record in front of goal could make him an ideal addition to their squad. However, they may face competition for his signature as interest in the forward continues to grow.

The Owls will hope to finalize any potential deal swiftly as they aim to strengthen their promotion bid in the second half of the season.
