The Confederation of African Football has scheduled Nigeria’s final qualifying match for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against Rwanda for Monday, November 18, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
This Matchday 6 fixture will conclude the competition in Group D for a chance to participate in the 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals, set to take place in Morocco from December 2025 to January 2026.
CAF has designated Moroccan officials for this match, with Samir Guezzaz serving as the referee.
The match will kick off at 5 PM Nigerian time, and he will be assisted by Zakaria Brinsi, Abdessamad Abertoune, and Kech Chaf Mustapha, who will take on the roles of assistant referee 1, assistant referee 2, and fourth official, respectively.
Ghana’s Prosper Harrison Addo will act as the commissioner, while Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia will serve as the referee assessor.
In the preceding Matchday 5 encounter against Benin Republic at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on Thursday, November 14, which is set to begin at 7 PM CIV time (8 PM Nigeria time), CAF has appointed officials from Senegal, with Issa Sy as the referee. His fellow countrymen Djibril Camara, Nouha Bangoura, and El Hadji Amadou Sy will fulfill the roles of assistant referee 1, assistant referee 2, and fourth official, respectively.
Ivorian Rene Williams Sere will be the commissioner, while Angolan Inacio Manuel Candido will serve as the referee assessor.
