Nigerian-descent forward Victor Musa Aigbomian got his maiden goal as Manchester United thrashed Leeds United 8-0 in a Premier League U18 encounter on Saturday afternoon.
Before the game, Manchester United had been on excellent form – winning their first seven games of the season, scoring 40 goals and conceding just four goals.
James Scanlon opened the scoring for the Red Devils in the tenth minute and provided the assist for Bendito Boanova Mantato to double the lead in the 30th minute.
Seven minutes later, Victor Osezele Musa scored the third goal of the encounter through a penalty kick, while Amir Ibragimov made it four, finishing an assist from Thwaites.
With the performance, Manchester United headed into the break with a comfortable victory at the Leeds Training Ground and started the second half strongly, continuing their dominance in the first half.
Two minutes after the restart, James Scanlon scored his brace, slotting home a layoff from Victor Osezele Musa.
In the 68th minute, Amir Ibragimov also got his brace, beating Grainger to slot home an assist from Chido Obi-Martin, who replaced Victor Osezele Musa in the 61st minute.
Amir Ibragimov scored his hat-trick in the 74th minute, calmly slotting home a pass from Malama Lusale. One minute later, James Scanlon also got his hat trick, scoring an assist from Chido Obi-Martin.
With the victory, Manchester United are top of the summit with 24 points from 8 games.
