AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Eguavoen submits Super Eagles squad for Benin Republic and Rwanda fixtures

Augustine Eguavoen, the caretaker coach of the Super Eagles, has officially submitted his squad to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the upcoming qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

As three-time AFCON champions, Nigeria will wrap up their qualification campaign with matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

The Matchday 5 encounter with Benin Republic is set to take place at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on Thursday, November 14, starting at 7 PM local time (8 PM Nigeria time).

Nigeria’s final qualifying match for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against Rwanda is scheduled for November 18 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

In preparation for these vital fixtures, Eguavoen has selected a strong squad predominantly featuring players based abroad.

This choice highlights the coach’s commitment to assembling an experienced and competitive team.
