At just 18 years old, Taiye hails from Ilorin. He began his football journey at Unicorn Football Academy, financed by Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi.
Recognizing the need for higher-level experience, Nigeria U20 coach Ali Zubair brought him to Gombe United.
At 16, he joined the Savannah Scorpions, where his speed and skill posed significant challenges for defenders.
In September 2024, he made the move to Olympiacos.
Playing Style, Strengths, and Weaknesses
Taiye is a direct player, primarily operating on the left wing in formations like 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, which are standard across the academy. This setup complements his ability to either race down the flank or cut inside.

His decision-making can also be inconsistent, though playing alongside higher-caliber teammates should enhance this skill.
