Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel showcased an outstanding performance for Fenerbahce SK on Sunday, contributing significantly to the team’s impressive 4-0 victory over Sivasspor in Round 12 of the Turkish Super Lig.
The former QPR player was instrumental in preserving the clean sheet from the outset of the match.
The scoring commenced in the 24th minute when Samed Akaydin netted the first goal, putting Fenerbahce ahead 1-0. The hosts quickly doubled their lead early in the second half, with Dusan Tadic converting a penalty in the 54th minute.
Fenerbahce’s commanding performance continued as Sofyan Amrabat added to the scoreline in the 82nd minute, and Alex Saint-Maximin capped off the match with a precise finish in the 90th minute.
Following the match, Osayi-Samuel is scheduled to depart for Abidjan on Monday to join the national team for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
