Nottingham Forest have entered advanced negotiations to extend the contract of Super Eagles fullback Ola Aina, aiming to secure his future at the club and avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Aina joined Nottingham Forest from Torino in 2023 and has quickly established himself as a key player for the Premier League side. This season, the versatile defender has made 12 Premier League appearances and scored one goal, contributing significantly to Forest’s impressive campaign.
Under the guidance of manager Nuno Espírito Santo, Forest are currently seventh in the Premier League table with 19 points, just three points shy of Arsenal, who occupy the final Champions League spot. The 28-year-old’s current contract is set to expire on June 30, 2025, but with less than months remaining, Forest are keen to secure an extension.
